Lady Fan is such an addicting drama. One episode each day is not enough for the tv viewers' dosage. I was abit lucky, all thanks to uncle who lend it to me over the last weekend during december. So i can sneak away from the living room at 7pm these days.

Hongkong Tv Series had always been popular. They owned the golden directors and cameramen which made the scenes shot very vivid. They also usually have those old story plot originated from the chinese novels penned by the famous novelists. (Jin Yong) "The return of the Condor Heroes" "Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre" "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" "The Deer and the Cauldron" "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer" These story had already built its rack in our mind that somtimes we took the plot above for something which had happened in the old times.

I like Hongkong films as well. So far, i think they produce the best chinese films, aside from the whites. Currently, alot of the producer preferred shooting a novel to its fame, rather than solely coming out with a tv script for the tv viewers. This has been practising in South Korea recently too. Risks will be lower as the producer would be able to have its choice from the wide selection available in the book stores.

Things aren't too different in the Hollywood. "Pride & Prejudice" is one of the most heard of i knew because i often see this book lying around in Popular book stores. Novelists aren't exactly writing novel, they had another name, "Script Writers"?
