JUNG DA BIN was found dead at her boyfriend's home! She commited suicide by hanging herself at her young boyfriend's bathroom on saturday (10 Feb 07). This shocked everyone who at the least expected her to be the 3rd female lead who hit the headlines with suicidal news.

The third south korean actress found commiting suicide in the 2 years, after UNEE. OMG. Alot of similarity with the 3 female leads:

All chose to commit suicide through hanging themselves at home when they on the verge to becoming more famous, more popular, at a tender age, 25-26. They are brought up in a single parent home and enter showbiz at a young age.

I read the headlines today and my jaws dropped. I love her performance in the movie with Song Seung Hun "He was cool" where i first caught her on screen. I have yet watched her drama with Kim Rae Won, which was quite popular 2 yrs back! Was intending to watch it when i have the time after all the papers.. oh my. She gave me an impression of being a very cheerful & lively actress, despite not looking the best out of the 89974901283013 korean actresses. I respect her for that. I wouldnt have believe that she had contracted depression if i didnt read into the news and discovered that how hard her management is on her the last one year. Something happened and they was punishing her by didnt allow her to act out any on screen tasks, i think. Also, the korean fans are boycotting her because they accused that she was becoming uglier after doing plastic on her face. Guessed she was so bothered by everything that she decided to left with the lord. Also at the same time when her death news spread, they also found out that her boyfriend was her junior from the same company, 21 yrs old, 5 yrs younger than her. Oh my, i was hoping for more news tomorrow.

Rest In Peace Jung Da Bin. I dont want such news again, its so, kind of upsetting. The last thing on my mind was, could it be a murder case where the murder is the boyfriend who was the first one to found her dead in the bathroom??? Everything seemed too coincidental! 목을 매 숨진 채로 10일 발견된 정다빈은 9일 오전 5시 4분께 미니홈피를 통해 자살을 암시하는 고백을 마지막으로 남겼다.

정다빈은 '마침'이라는 제목과 함께 "복잡해서 죽을 것 같았다.
이유 없이 화가 나서 미칠 것 같았다. 멀미가 날듯이 속이 힘들었다.
머리가 너무 아파서 눈물이 났다. 신경질에 성낼 너의 노예가 될 뻔했다.
울다 웃다 미치는 줄 알았다. 내가 나를 잃었다고 생각했었고 나는 뭔가 정체성을 잃어갔었다. 순간 전기에 감전이 되듯이, 번쩍..

정다빈이 외부와 소통한 마지막 글이기도 하다.정다빈은 이날 오전 서울 삼성동의 친구 집 목욕탕에서 목을 매 숨진 것을 친구가 발견, 경찰에 신고했다.
정다빈은 최근 심한 우울증에 시달려 온 것으로 전해졌다."

Translated: She wrote on her Cyworld that it was 'Ending'.

"I thought I was going to die because it was so frustrating.
I kept getting mad with no reason..and it was driving me crazy.
I was so tired.. as if I would always get nauseous..
My head hurt so much, I cried.

Lauging, then crying..it was enough to drive me crazy.
I finally began to think that I was losing myself..
And I began to lose touch.
Suddenly, like being electrocuted..
Suddenly, I became peaceful.
The lord came.
He gives me strength, he strengthens my foolish self..
He teaches me strength, and makes me realize things that are close to me.
He raises me up when I was about to give up..
And he tells me that it's now alright.
I'm alright."


It's the only thing she left before she hung herself. People may have mistaken it as a sucidal note, including me. BUT Seemed that she should be feeling better. Read the last two line. "its now alright" it meant she will embrace a new life and continue.. ?

"MOREOVER, she had arranged alot of appointment with her friends recently" read the news. She was planning for a great comeback on screen that she even arranged a meeting with her dermalogist. In conjunction with my doubts, the further news REVEALED that the police now is re-investigating the case as there are alot of misstatements. Current her family is requesting for an autopsy which will be performed tomorrow.

Its very nice to hear that her co-star/friend, Kim Rae Won (Attic Cat) put down all his work in Thailand and fly back to Seoul immediately to attend her funeral. He stayed at the funeral for a night. Song Seung Hun too, attended the funeral asap after learning the matter. Sigh.
