I was revising at home till i saw swee's sms. She sounded desperate to taste the beer from Archipelgo Brewery at circular streets (which is at clarke quay) and so we went~
On our way to archipelago, saw the shin bar, reminding me of shin goon in GOONG. Most of the shops are either bars or eatery. Omo. Gotta try them out someday."i'll be back"
The imperial bak kut teh. Anyone knows if its good?

The Archipelago Brewery!
The Interior. Simple decor.

See how happy sweeling is. Shes thirsty for beer, in the AFTERNOON. OMO.

Browsing the menu . .

Cam-whoring while she went to make the orders. Before you start thinking, this is another brown top.

As happy as a lurk! I called her beer ghost. (Jiu Gui) LOL! What a crude nick isnt it. Since she explained afterwards that if somebody were to give her some more beer when she full, she wont have it. This differentiate her from Jiu Gui who will continue to gulp the beer voraciously like water until his health finally gave out. For her, she merely appreciates alcohols. As for me, i preferred hard liquors.

where are you looking swee.

Duplicated evon?

Cheers!

Yes the film has started rolling for the drama. Pardon my legs.

The flip doors to the washrooms.

The menu which resembled an ancient book.

The archipelago medium brew. Tasting very smooth.

The archipelago light brew. Very bland.

Faking the sorrow look.

Swee's

Only had some snacks before i rushed out to meet her. I was famished after the beers & were picking for a great place to dine at. This is Marutama Ramen restaurant which is strongly recommended by swee. It was said long queues could be seen during peak period. True as it is, saw the queues around 630pm!

It was open! luckily. Its located at The Central Shopping Centre(Can take train till Clarke Quay)

A cosy homey japanese restaurant.

Authentic Japanese Ramen, Marutama Ramen! 12$ a bowl.
The charsiew is chewy, medium sweet & very tasty!!! The best charsiew in a ramen i had tried to-date. You have to add1$ for The egg which is delicious too. The york is half liquid and salty. I wondered if they inject the soya sauce into the eggyolk! Considered 20% more pricey than the common ramens.

Looks like the bowl of ramen served when you are tired from a day of work. Then you'll devour the ramen gluttonously and finish them in 5mins~ I like such drama drama feeling. Everyone should try it. If you want a refill, its only a DOLLAR for the ramen if you still have soup left over in your bowl! 4$ for other toppings.. Meaning 1$/5$ for the second bowl, isnt it interesting?

Oh and swee gave me a green-tea kit-kat. Wonder how it'll taste.

The exterior capture of The Central. During its contruction days, i was there and thought the building will appear ultra-spectacular when its done. Now i felt that it isnt that eye-catching. Probably they should add some neon lights or light boards to touch up the building.

The night views of Clarke Quay . .

I'll save on the details of the day. Spend me hours doing all these updates, especially with the uploading of the photos. OMO!
