Just finished my korean class
and everything is going well..
한국말를 청말 제미 있어요
한국 숙제은 쉬워지만 질문을 초금 어려워요~
처는 열심히 공부하고 십어요

For this post, im going to write about korean food. 지난주말에 i went to this korean eatery situated @ Chinatown with sweeling. There isnt much decor however it feels like one of those cheap-busy eateries youve seen in the korean drama! Pretty cosy, air-conditioned and the atmosphere was good. Almost half of the tables taken, so we'd decided to give it a try~ 7pm it was already packed and there were still many people coming in after work~ till the extend that the lady boss had to set up more tables outside that it stretched to other shop's decks.

한명 친구하고 식당에서 갔어요~
매뉴 있어요
많은선택 있었어요
봐~ 봐~ 봐~

한국음긱이 먹었어요~

밥과 반찬 (BapKwan BanChan)
Side Dishes
6-7Appetizers which were served free as long as you ordered any dish~
Its a tradition in every korean restaurant.
Kim Chi~ (were a lil too sour) Spinach~ Korean Curry Potato~ BeanSprout~Cucumber~ ~~

돼지갈비 (Twaeji-KalBi) - $18
Pork-Korean bbQ

구리고 양파하고 마늘은 줬어요~
There were also onion and garlic~

The waitress will help bbq the pork and cut them into pieces. You can wrapped the pork with the lettuce. (also add in the kimchi and dip in the chilli sauce like what i did) You can see this on almost every table too! One-of-the-compulsory-dish and you wont regret. Choices: Beef, pork. too bad i think no seafood.. probably you can only get that at a higher class restaurant.

야, 맛었어요! (Ya, MatSeosSeoYo)
Ya, delicious!

떡라면 (ddeok- Ramen) - $11
Rice Cake w Ramen
One of the dish we finished clean!
but we dont like ricecake which is very flour-y.

비빔밥 (bibimbap) -$10..
Rice mixed with vegetables w egg.
It was served piping hot~ and portion was huge~

The lady boss mixed the given sweet-chilli sauce and the rice w veggies for US.
and it look like this. Still steamy hot~ be careful~

STRONGLY-RECOMMENDED

Infact my brother's main office is just in the area~ Before i can go on about the food, he said everytime they can smell the bbq meat from the second floor when they open the entrance door~ Although its run by a korean family, no worries about patroning this eatery because the lady boss knew a little English, A nice lady she is, so you may ask her for some recommendation~ Im certainly going to return for more. If you are visiting with one or mere two friends, you may want to get a small plate and put all the food in the centre and share. Rather than having one big-sturdy bowl of rice/noodle or soup on your own. Food seemed to taste better that way~ hehe. This isnt my first post on korean food but i couldnt recall if ive shared with you the etiquettes that you should follow in a korean restaurant.

1 - Never hold the chopsticks together with a spoon. Its considered a lil rude, just one at a time.
Eg. If you are using a spoon to scoop your rice, put the chopstick nicely at the side of your bowl/plate. If you are using the chopstick to pick a dish, leave the spoon down on the table.
