it was about 12 months since i last put on the 3.5inches high heels squeezing myself in the formal wear for an occasion~ blabla months since i get myself crowded with the public, looking forward to projecting my best image on an early morning, and took a train to orchard~ whose main station entrance has changed to the one next to wheellock~ initially I dont know where i should go. A little flustered. Imagine, i was like a swallow flipping wings. But I tried to stay compose~ given the image i wanted to have this morning.
Was surprised about SMRT's decision to have such lighting decor at orchard station~ With lights and bulbs flashing on the sides of the paveway and the escalators. In my memory, "Only hongkong has it. Seoul~~ or Tokyo" I used to think we should have it some day! but with the energy-saving campaign heavily introduced, i thought it was impossible. Im wrong. For the sake of leaving a better, not good only, impression to millions of travellers. Singapore is working hard at it. Certain high-rised building at town added themself into the action, by having a little lighting show on the exteriors.
HOWEVER
Effort doesnt mean you are doing well enough.
Its not about giving your best. Do it well!
Give me another second, i would have recalled that wisma atria had the lighting effect which Orchard Mrt station implemented recently, donkey years ago~ and the areas implemented with lighting are just too little. Not significant! 2more years, i wanna see how far we can still go~ Often feel Singapore wanted to have its best at something but they always stop before reaching a level. Quoting this an example from a Taiwan variety show. "If in an act, there were a couple kissing passionately yet the eyes was glaring at the by-passer, yearning for some comments. Its just not there." Yes im that gullible to believe everything at first sight was perfect. To find out the flaws when i regained conscious the next moment.
To make the above fall; if it was cheaper utility bills they are referring to. Haha. Singapore talks about budget.
So. I was perspiring alot today. Luckily the air-con on the train was very strong~ at least saving me from smelling too bad~ Dont know why i have so much sweats. Must be lack, of workouts and time for sweating.Whenever i was on the streets i envy people who can drive. Because its really comfortable~ and bring u to wherever you want to. And regarding speeding. Wah really shiok. Definitely, i believe EVERYONE has the ability to own it, SOMETIMEs during this lifetime. Be it 18 yrs old. 30. 50 or even 55 yrs old. It might come early or just, come later :) If you are willing to give up a unit of your own assets to exchange for such a benefit, you will have it. Everyone has different consideration. They might just prefer other luxuries~
For everything on earth. Theres a price to be paid.
Pros about car. Yes all you can think of.
Cons are.. yes there are cons too. 1. Expensive 2. Makes you fat, unhealthy and gives you a belly because u are constantly being transported, dont have to walk at all. Whereas walking is the 'best workout time'! 3. Risks, involved for being on the road~~~! 4. Lesser time to get in touch with the society. Its home-car-place-car-home. Everything links up like a dynamic map.
Whatever is bound to happen will happen~ Most importantly, live your life happily, in the good ways.
Sometimes i have to pick myself out of the situation to look at things better. When u smell durian, you yearn to savour it in your mouth so much that u can chiong right to the hawker and carry a basket home. When you are eating durians, you can no longer smell the durian~ what a spoiler. Notice this?
If you wish to be beautiful
you will be beautiful
If you wish to be happy
you will be happy.
im learning to live for myself,
not forgetting my family.
hope i wont get too self--centred as i grow.
