The Korea Festival has officially started with the drums of opening at Vivocity yesterday. The festival will showcase Korean food, K-Pop, classical music, film and other diverse aspects of the Korean culture, that ends 18 november. I managed to know this event from the newspaper last few weeks. One of the major events held will be the Korean Kpop Night Concert held at the indoor stadium on 4th November this coming tuesday at 730pm. Shinhwa members, Andy and junjin, kpop diva Chaeyeon, together with the latest popular boy girl bands, like Jewelry, Wonder Girls, 2pm V.O.S, Ukiss .. will come forth bringing their most exciting kpop music and dance. It was a rare opportunity where we can catch a glimpse of the most popular groups in one concert but i never really think im gonna go in the first place. Because ive not been concentrating on the kpop music scene since last year after uni. So the new boy girl bands are not appealing to me because i dont know them~ Probably my desire to go would be due to the shinhwa members and Chaeyeon.

Then now starhub implement some new systems for cabletv. So we had the digital set box instead of the analogue ones now. And one of the benefit of the digital sets is that it allows you to watch free korean programs channels like arirang and KBS World.

Until i watched music bank, where the singers go on and performed . . and saw some of the groups that are coming for the Singapore Kpop Concert~ Then feel that their songs are quite catchy and they are quite good.. Last of all, they made me feel that korean concerts are one not to be missed. They have absolutely great performances and fabulous stage~~ Suddenly have the urge to go for the kpop concert but the tickets are solely for distribution only. This is where the frustration set in because theres no sales channel.. Then ting's sms came in and said her colleague has a lobang for 2 tickets at $$$ to the concert! Too ex and managed to cut till $$, so now we're going~ so happy can~ now i only hope we can definitely get the tix on that day and get to see the kpop stars upclose. esp junjin!
