Sister was admitted into Raffles Girls School.
Parents were very satisfied and contented. PSLE results were released last month, and sister, by luck, was one of the three scholars in her school, scoring full distinctions. I didnt do that much for her but she did make a dash during the last one month by getting down to assessment books and test papers daily. I'd said, she owed it to herself. She really surprised us as our furthest hope is probably Anderson, St Nicholas or. Yishun Town which has recently rosen to the top few neighbourhood school, admitting pupils with only aggregate of 240. As the saying goes “ 慈母多败儿 ” "Spare the rod, spoil the child. " Since im the eldest, i often replaced my mother to 'torture' my sister. Haha. Treating her very harsh. I hope i wont be that lenient to her in the future, lest she get kicked out of RGS. My sister really made us all so happy that few days. Infact, we are a family of prudence. Or should say im more of the one being prudent, the important principle in accounting. Although her results is bound to admit her successfully yet im still very pessimistic. Keep telling her she'll end up somewhere, not her dream school. So one moment we were in high spirits and next im getting my sister very disappointed. imagine?.. LOL. Yes the very brutal sister, im one. I trust one that not the intelligence that brings you far, its the attitude that'll fly you to the sky. Some sprinkles of lady luck too perhaps? At the same time when i was still reprimanding my sister just now, she didnt know, deep down i wish i can be as focus as her. And do well in my studies. 所谓 -小时了了大未必佳- No matter Ocean or Pond, if she forget how to swim, she'll still lose herself. We dont care about too much of the school name but we do hope to release her to her fullest potential. Like one of her best classmates whos joining her, that girl's dad said, they are the 3 little angels. Because all of us are from a humble background afterall. Do you understand what that uncle meant? :)
Well wishes. Lots of fun at the few approaching festivals!
