After seeing Michelle on XMAN, that intriguing-comical korean variety show, yesterday, i was pretty much fascinated by her. Despite being the one to set the record as the youngest player to qualify for an LPGA & the USGA amateur tournaments and turning pro in Golf last year, she leads another life of an ordinary 17 yr old girl too. She is/was a fan of H.O.T (kangta's group last time). She listened to H.O.T/Lee Seung Gi's Music (On XMAN, Tony & Lee Seung Gi are so happy upon knowing she was a fan of them. Imagine, a golf prodigy who listens to your songs, that is a HONOUR.) She went out movies with her classmates. She loves shopping. She has this vibe of a 17 yr old. She watched XMAN!
She flied to korean on 29 april for an open golf game. And guess what? Yeah, she was invited to XMAN, that korean variety show. Yeah, she has been dying to join XMAN one day when she was watching them at home (USA, honululu). She even mentioned that XMAN has helped improve her korean. On Xman Dangyunhaji (of course) game, HaHa & Park Myung Soo had a COOL knock down from Michelle Wie!

From those news and youtube videos, i saw that she actually fly in a helicopter to the SBS (the Tv broadcast station) for the recording of the XMAN variety show. She was being interviewed like an international superstar! Facing hundreds of camera flashes and media from all over the world.
In her last interview in USA, the host asked her if she felt any geese of being an international superstar when she visited Japan recently. Haha. It was like yeah she is but she denied. I like the way she is. Bubbly, modest and her PASSION for golf. Its really alluring! People were saying she will be the next Tiger-woods for the women. And that she has the ability to spark off a bigger market and attract more people to golf, especially the women and the younger generation, boys & girls. Yes, DEFINITELY. Im drawn in by her as well, see.

I really like watching korean variety shows because they are able to make me laugh till my sides hurt, till i lost my voice UNLIKE Jack Neo's Monday Night. Other than danyunhaji, the 2 hr XMAN variety show provides ALOT more entertaining activities; Couple game, sports game, XMAN's mission, singing & dancing.
