the traffic today is crazy
at 645pm, the sky is almost pitch-dark and it still continue to rain cats & dogs.
Somemore the traffic lamps are working only after 7pm, the headlights of the vehicles alone are not sufficient to lit the streets. Certain parts of the streets continue to appear very dark and the drivers just have to be on full alert or either, drive slower.

When i was reaching anak bukit traffic light for BKE, the words on the panels wrote that its gonna take 20mins to BKE. Omo, the old usual route which is supposed to take less than 3 mins is taking 20 today. It meant a bad jam at the junction i believed. So i go on the overheadbridge for a new exit at the diary farm onto BKE. I usually dont like new route because the unfamiliarity with the road isnt gonna be easy on you, especially on a rainy day~~ you almost cant even see whats in front of you~ with the glarings from the headlights reflections, braking lights and wet side mirrors.

So when i was going on slow during the jam traffic, i have some time to look at the shop houses by the side. I always missed out on the good scenery cuz i was always either speeding or rushing. The first street i passed by were the shop houses in front of bukit timah hill. Again it reminds me of one of the sec sch basketball stamina trainings, when we had a very cosy dinner after a tough day of ('uphill-climbing')run on the hill. That day was a wet day too, so the feeling is similar to today's. Second, before the turn for diary farm exit, i saw quite a few shophouses restaurants.. Then one of them had a big crab NEON Signage Board at the shop front. Wah, how i wish i can come here after school with my friend for some big spreads or 大闸蟹 (so being my schoolmate/friend isnt that bad afterall, even if it means we are going there by foot or bus. I always think about them. Think about how can i love them more. =D) I always love such mentality indulgence.

While im on my way, I noticed most of the street lamps were not working and it really made driving even more difficult under such a bad weather. To my surprised, it doesnt only happen on the expressway, alot traffic lights are broken down around my neighbourhood area. Flicking amber lights or some just went off. And theres even one accident at the junction. really so scary when you were alone. And all you could do is to brace yourself these storms, even if you are alone. "Live longer and you'll meet more things." And after all these, you'll just become more experience to handle things, or even stronger, that you are immuned to such a fright in the future.

Just now pass by northpoint. Most of the shops seemed ready for business after a year of renovation~ Then now we have the HongKong Xin Wang Cafe here! For so many years, i think the people here are awaiting for such a chinese restaurant for a better meal cuz northpoint dont have much such cafe restaurant... Can see that the restaurant is doing brisk on the first day! Just the view of the XinWang alone made me feel very homey and that I feel like bringing my whole family there for a dinner too! Not because of its food or name, (Xin Wang is merely a cafe in my opinion), just that, the restaurant really has a good location, i bet it feels cosy inside!

Dont know why, a wet weather in the night always made me feel more prone to get emo~ all the more it is when im in my car alone. Probably my mind wants to get warmer to fight against the cold. At times, i really do love love love such privacy to myself and that im rather afraid that im going to love doing things alone more often in the future. Although at times, i do wish for a LOVELY companion. Like i'll go thinking how great it will be if it is HE or SHE whos gonna be here with me to enjoy the moment. Last, i like the way how the orange lights from the streetlamps cast the shadows of the rain on my arms. They just look, so fascinating, except that my arms are flabby. im trying to take a photograph of it just now but didnt manage a good piece~ so i'll save it. Im always stolen by whats happening other than on the road itself.



Wet mirrors and glarings from the headlights, worst some even turn on the high beam~ I wanted to put on high beam too but for the sake of the driver's welfare infront, i didnt.

Basketball again tomorrow. Been at it at least once weekly with my mates these months. If not for the SAKE OF LOSING WEIGHT or just to spend time with my friends, i dont think i'd love to return to the court. Afterall, it isnt a lady that should be doing for my age. And i find my opponents childish sometimes. The sec school players. So i might prefer to run or work in the gym. Hope tomorrow wont rain! So after that, i can jio them to walk pasam malam! I so look forward to weekend every week!
